No experience is necessary for our beginner and intermediate trips. Our guides provide a full safety orientation and paddling instruction before every trip to ensure you feel ready to focus on the fun.

Minimum age requirements depend on water levels and the section of river. Beginner trips are often suitable for kids, while intermediate trips typically require older participants. Currently, we accept children as young as 6 (and min. 50lbs) on our Beginner Trips, and children as young as 14 on our Intermediate Trips.

Yes. Our Beginner rafting trips are designed for first-time rafters and are led by professionally trained guides with extensive safety and emergency response training in addition to CPR and First Aid. All guests wear helmets, life jackets, and other required safety equipment.

Yes. Rafting trips operate rain or shine unless river conditions become unsafe. We will always give as much notice as possible when conditions are variable.

Many non-swimmers can safely participate on Beginner Trips if they are comfortable around water and follow guide instructions. Our guides are trained to minimize the possibility of anyone swimming - and are trained to handle it quickly and safely when the unlikely does happen.
